No flowers this week!

Well, darn.  We were really hoping to see all our friends a the Lancaster Farmers Market on Saturday! But we don't have any blooms.

 No blooms. I think I need to sing to them some more!

The sunflowers are mighty stubborn when the weather cools off so even tho we still have some in the field... they are locked up tight.

Hopefully the weather will warm up a little and we'll be back at the market next week!

The Market Continues!

Thanks to the customers who came out on Saturday! Yes! The Lancaster Farmers Market is still being held on Saturdays!

We really appreciated everyone who came out despite the windy weather.

 Our flowers are still going strong!

We still have sunflowers!

Our pumpkin vases are a hit...

 ...and a great gift or centerpiece for just $10.

Another winning market!

I think I might just like the fall markets the best..... it was cool and comfortable with tons of sunshine!

The flowers were belted in for safety as we drove along....

And some quick grab and go flowers - perfect for a hostess gift or "just because."

Market Ready!

We are market ready! Can't wait to see all our customers at the Lancaster Farmers Market tomorrow! We are all loaded up and ready to go.

The sunflowers were up early and eager to get to "the big show" as they call it.

The buckets are full...

The zinnias are ready......

The dahlias just can't be stopped...

The suns are just beaming!

Flowers available this weekend!

Just some quick pix of the flowers we'll have this weekend....

Of course we'll have our larger yellow dahlias.

The whites are also spectacular.

We'll have tons of "yellow yellow" - sunflowers with bright yellow petals and yellow centers.

Everyone loves the more orange colored suns with dark centers. 

This beautiful stand of yellow yellows can't wait to get to market!

Saturday's Market

The cool temps didn't keep the the Lancaster Farmers Market from having lots of sunshine. We had tons of suns on our market table. And dahlias too.

We had another terrific market and want to thank all our customers who came out. We had a few raindrops but that couldn't keep us down.

Folks loved the $5 "Grab n Go" bouquets..... we had some real beauties for sale.

Everyone loves our $1 by-the-stem blooms.

We always have a variety of bouquets at different prices. Tall vase? Sure we have extra long stemmed sunflowers. Short vase? A sweet little bouquet is just what you need to brighten your kitchen.

The the Lancaster Farmers Market runs thru October and unless we get a very hard frost, we'll have tons of flowers for the rest of the market season. Let us know if you have a special order and we'll be sure to have it wrapped and ready for you.

The table had tons of blooms!

The  morning started out warm but then the breeze picked up and it all cooled down. We had some beautiful blooms for sale.

The sunflowers were stunning...

.....but the zinnias held their own!

We also debuted a new dahlia...this one is Cafe Au Lait! Isn't she lovely?

We expect to have flowers thru mid-October and even longer! Unless we get a hard frost we should be a the the Lancaster Farmers Market until it ends in October.

Saturday was fantastic!

We had another tremendous market on Saturday! Thanks to everyone who braved the heat to come to the the Lancaster Farmers Market! 

 We had some amazing sunflowers.....

And the dahlias couldn't be beat!

The Bloom Wagon was fully loaded. 

Here's hoping that we'll have nothing but blue skies and sunshine next Saturday!

Our Biggest Harvest Yet!

Wow what a grow! We are about to have our biggest sunflower and dahlias harvest YET!

The grow fields have lost their minds! They are blooming like mad!

These sunflowers heard that they can bring all kinds of smiles to people if they just bloom - 

so they have all popped open!

They can't be stopped!

 The sunflowers have gone crazy!

We will have a net-breaking, boat sinking, truck filling haul of blooms for the the Lancaster Farmers Market on Saturday!
